Recapping the past 2 years

And a new entry was dperived still, 9 months after.

Better one than none.

Thanks to long Deepavali break, with not much to be done. But one that I would say, quite a productive one.

It’s T-1 before the Starians are back to school and with their exam (Ujian Selaras 2) was quite near the corner, study babysitting allows me to have a peep here.

So, let’s keep the theme simple still. Keeping everyone reading (if ever there was any), up to speed, on a super high level basis.

I took up cycling due to the shinsplit. That we know of. Covid happened. That’s for sure. So here goes.

Eldest had a stellar 2019. From no where near the top 5 (or was it even out of the top 10), to the best male student in his school.

Secondary school was the next critical milestone and placement. And he made it into STAR.

Covid happened, and it shaped a lot of things, for better and for worse.

Naela’s and Qaisar’s early childhood development affected somehow. But the same goes for everyone else. No complaints there. But most complaint is on how this can emotionally affect everyone.

Angah finished standard 6 the same way how everyone did. We contemplated on where to send him. He goes to STAR

Changed job. Went from working in the sub-urb right to the almost city center in KL Sentral. Less than 2 years after, the company moved to Ara Damansara. Back to the sub-urb again

Took a managerial role with that job. Seems good so far, after tons of doa. Hope to be thriving better. New challenges lie ahead still. A major reorg is about to happen. Let’s hope that I can thrive even more.

2022 is where things turning back to normal again. And carry along the normal challenges with it:

  1. Time gets even more unlimited. Even with 2 bigger kids now (2 less than before)
  2. With limited time, there goes that spare time that you have for yourself, to pursue your other interests. Balancing is still the super critical key. And time to let go and refrain from comparing yourself to others. You do you
  3. Qaisar and Naela non-academic development. Qaisar’s might be easier. Naela might not yet. Still a key to-do, not yet able to be ticked off up to October 2022 (well, to be fair, life only gets purely normal after raya, which was May 2022, and with 2 kids in STAR, everyone’s needs have to be juggled).
So, guess that will be all, as a start.

Cheers
