JB or Kuantan, That is the Question

September's school term break was up. 

Didn't plan on anything much earlier since this should be an SPM year and holidays should be minimised if not avoided.

But one can only plan. 

The term break coincided with National Day, and to top it off, coincided with an additional holiday for Selangor since we had just won Sukma. 

So, a last minute cuti-cuti Malaysia plan was conjured.

Well, thinking back, it was mostly conjured by Le hubs. He was going to Bangkok for a business trip, hence he was thinking to bring the few of us. Mostly I think to satisfy his guilt and for not feeling that he's missing out. But since the breaks didn't coincide with his trip, he had no choice but to come up with a place to go before he actually leaves us for his trip.

Angah of course was intrigued with the thoughts of Batam. Lope was more interested with JB. Other classic options were of course Penang or Kuantan. The Thai borders would be a suicide, and not sure when will we ever try to attempt it again. It then had triggered me to look into when did we last go to these places, to help us decide further the rightful destination.

2022 - JB with May, Ayah, Amin's mom and Mus and Fam (June)

So we last went to JB as a family in 2022, and last went to Kuantan in 2021. Lope was only in form 2. 4 years gap for JB and 5 years for Kuantan. But we had went to JB in multiple occasions for football matters in 2024 and 2025. And Kuantan, you can never beat its beaches. Nothing too fancy, but decent enough for you to let some steam off. So, Kuantan it was, based on that analysis. Apart for the different food that you managed to try anything along the way would be something that you can look forward to. 

While doing that, I then feel the needs to keep a proper track of things. While those memories still remain quite fresh, little that we know if was sometime ago. And without you know, the kids are very much grown now. Realisation like this always keep you sick in your stomach. What better way to cherish the memories than keeping a nice tab on things. 

Maybe I should put up a photobook of all these as well.
